影音傳送帶是一個高效穩定功能強大的下載工具，下載速度一流，CPU佔用率低，尤其在寬頻上特別明顯；內建易於使用的文件管理器，輕鬆實現按類別存放下載的檔。而且只要站點支援，這些協定均支援多線程中斷點續傳。MMS協定流每秒的位元組數差不多是固定的，這就決定了MMS流本身不能充分利用用戶的帶寬資源，所以多線程技術能有效地縮短MMS流下載的時間。RTSP同樣支持多線程，另外選中“流/最大速度”能明顯提速，效果立竿見影。影音傳送帶支援HTTPS(加密套接字協定層)，並且支援經過HTTP、SOCKS4&5等代理下載；FTP同樣支援SSL，可以有效地保護傳輸的資料安全。
